SHIPPING POLICY – THEOMLIVING

At THEOMLIVING, we aim to provide a seamless and reliable delivery experience for all our customers. Delivery timelines vary based on the type of product ordered. Ready-to-ship items such as scatter pillows, ready lighting, and other small décor products are typically delivered within 7–15 days, while customized and made-to-order products such as sofas, furniture, and large lighting fixtures usually take around 4–6 weeks to reach your doorstep. All mentioned timelines are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including delays by third-party logistics providers.

Once your shipment is ready for dispatch, you will receive an SMS or WhatsApp notification with the tracking details. In some cases, the logistics partner may contact you to confirm the delivery date and time, though this cannot be guaranteed as they operate independently. Deliveries are made Monday through Saturday and will be carried out up to the building premises or ground floor, depending on accessibility. For higher floors, customers are requested to arrange their own manpower or labor, as our delivery personnel are not equipped to carry heavy items beyond the designated delivery point. It is important to carefully check the product dimensions mentioned on the website before placing your order to ensure that the furniture fits through your entryways, staircases, or elevators. Any failed delivery due to size constraints or unavailability will be the customer’s responsibility, and additional charges may apply for subsequent delivery attempts.

For the safety of your order during transit, larger items are often packed in sturdy wooden crates. While this may make the packaging bulky, it is essential to protect the product during multiple handling stages. Our delivery partners are not authorized to unpack, assemble, or dispose of packaging material. Customers may engage a local carpenter or professional for unpacking and installation. Any visible damage or defect should be immediately reported to the delivery personnel and our customer care team, with details noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) before signing.

Customers are requested to provide accurate address and contact details at the time of placing the order. If you expect to be unavailable during the estimated delivery period, please inform us in advance so that dispatch and delivery can be planned accordingly. We reserve the right not to deliver orders to insecure addresses, communal postal areas, or PO boxes. While we work with trusted third-party logistics partners such as Blue Dart, DTDC, SafeEx, or equivalent service providers, THEOMLIVING will not be held liable for any delays or rescheduling caused by these logistics companies. On rare occasions, certain deliveries may occur outside the estimated timelines due to unforeseen circumstances.

If your order is ready for dispatch but you are unable to receive it immediately, we offer a 2-week free holding period at our warehouse. Beyond this period, a holding cost of 5% per month (on the total order value) will be charged, along with 18% GST on the holding fee. Charges will be calculated on a pro-rata basis if the hold period is less than a month and must be cleared before dispatch can be arranged. A detailed breakdown of these charges will be shared via email if applicable.
